Thoughtful choices start with clear information. Here is what to expect from your stone mat.
What can I personalize?
Add a name, family name or short phrase, or choose a simple pattern. We use clear lettering and uncluttered lines. Custom artwork may need review and simplification before production.
How long will my order take?
Production takes 3–7 business days, depending on our queue. Estimated delivery takes 10 business days after dispatch: approximately 13–17 business days combined. Artwork approval can add time. Please plan ahead for gifts.
Is this a soft mat?
No. This is a rigid diatomite mat, 60 × 39 × 0.9 cm. Use the supplied mesh non-slip underlay on a flat, fully supported floor outside your bath or shower. The mat can chip or crack if dropped.
What is included?
Each mat comes with a mesh non-slip underlay, care sandpaper, care instructions and a gift message card. Choose the matching set to add two coordinated hard diatomite coasters.
What if it arrives damaged?
If your order is damaged in transit, we will issue a full refund and give you a $10 coupon for a future order. Contact us with your order number and photos of the damaged product and packaging.
Will it look exactly like the pictures?
Our current personalized product images are illustrations. They show design ideas, not physical sample photographs. Actual color, engraving contrast and finish may vary. Your layout preview helps you check text and placement.
Does it need care?
Yes. Allow the mat and floor beneath it to dry. Follow the supplied care instructions, and avoid heavy impacts. Care and sanding methods must suit the material and engraved design; do not treat the surface as maintenance-free.

Choose a rigid diatomite mat if you prefer a firm mineral surface and want an engraved design. Choose fabric if a soft, flexible feel is your priority. Both absorb water, and both need drying and care. A stone mat can chip if dropped; a fabric mat can stay damp between uses. Check the dimensions, support and care instructions rather than assuming one material suits every bathroom.
How does a diatomite bath mat absorb water?
A porous surface draws water into small connected spaces in the material. The surface may feel drier while moisture remains inside. That moisture must still leave through air-drying. Water volume, ventilation and recent use affect the result. An illustration can explain the mechanism, but only a controlled test can support a specific time claim.
How do I personalize a stone bath mat?
Choose a color and one of six simple layouts, add a name or short phrase, then adjust lettering and placement in CasaEtch Studio. A pattern-only option leaves out words.
